GDG Dressage League

Incorporating the Bennachie League & The Lochnagar Points Leagues

Gordon Dressage Group leagues are to encourage and reward participation of GDG members in GDG competitions. The structure of the Leagues we feel this gives our members the chance to compete in a robust, fair and achievable local League Championship which is in line with BD’s own grading system. The Leagues are split as follows:

  • The Bennachie League is for Gold & Silver British Dressage GDG members
  • The Lochnagar League is for Bronze British Dressage & Unaffiliated GDG members
  • The GDG Quest League is for GDG members competing in the Quest Classes

When time allows ongoing points will be displayed by clicking the button below although we can not guarantee we will have the capacity to provide this service after every competition. Riders may compete in both Leagues, as long they are eligible for the section. For example, one may be eligible to compete in Silver Elementary (Bennachie) & Bronze Medium (Lochnagar). Need Help with Horse Monkey?

If you are already a Horse Monkey Registered Rider you can enter our  competitions either directly on the Horse Monkey website, through the Horse Monkey App which is on iPhone and Android.  If you are not a Horse Monkey Rider, before you enter you will have to create your profile.  This is free to do and once set up you will not have to do it again …

To register go to the Horse Monkey website here, you have the following options to choose from:

Rider (This profile will mean that all entries will be booked in your name, you need this profile if you ride all your horses! So a single profile)

Multiple Riders Profile (This profile will allow you to make bookings for multiple riders. You should use this profile if you book entries for a yard, team, family member or if you want other riders to ride your horses or you have a mix of you and other riders you would pay for along with using this profile if you need to book entries for your children but you pay the bills!) This is the most popular type of profile.

You will firstly then be asked to complete your details such as name, address, mobile number etc and then go on to complete rider details within the Rider Details section you can add your association membership numbers such as GORDON DRESSAGE GROUP membership and any other type of association membership number (BD) you might need to add.

YOUR GDG NUMBER WILL BE EMAILED TO YOU

If you selected a Multiple Riders Profile you would need to complete details for each rider in the My Riders section.  Next register your horses again each horse has a section for Memberships also so here you can add your BD number or BS number for example.

You will only ever need to set up your profile once, once Horse Monkey has all your information it will store it for you.

Then you are ready to go, Horse Monkey will securely save all these details for you so you will be able to enter many other events without having to retype the details.  There is no subscription fees and no annual membership cost to use Horse Monkey – you will only be charged a small commission fee when you use the system to pay for entries online (less than a first class stamp) you can pay by debit card, PayPal or credit card and Horse Monkey work with trusted partners such as PayPal and Sagepay so rest assured you are in good hands.

You can now enter shows and events within 3 easy clicks – Search, Enter, Ride
